VULCAN 110/20/10KV POWER STATION
Civil works included:
- Replacement of the 110 kV transformer cell lines through the decommissioning of the existing GIS cells; installation and commissioning of a new hybrid equipment
- Replacement of the neutral treatment groups and the installation of a fault current detection on all MV feeders;
- Replacement of the 110 kV power transformer and of the 110/10 kV and 20/10 kV cable connection;
- Replacement of the 110 kV protection panels and MV electrical equipment;
- Refurbishment of the control room and installation of new LV switchboards and AC and DC control cabinets;
Electrogrup successfully implemented:
- Project Management – our teams coordinated the entire work;
- Health and Safety coordination;
- Primary and secondary 110,20, 0.4 kV equipment installation;
- SCADA system and commissioning;
Challenges:
- Working in an operating power station, with underground HV and MV cable and HV equipment
- Provisionally control circuits and ensuring the consumer`s power supply during the execution of the works
