Congratulations to the 4 winners of the EMBA scholarships
We would like to thank everyone for their applications and we are proud to announce the winners of the four EMBA scholarships:
- Cristinela Velicu, Public Health Manager at Merck Sharp & Dohme Romania
- Stefan Teisanu, Executive Director at Cluj Cultural Center
- Doru Supeala, Marketing Communication Manager at Onyx Beacon
- Carmen Antonie, Public Manager at the National Agency for Fishery and Aquaculture
The applications were evaluated by the UBB-EE team and a committee consisting of representatives of the academic (“Babes-Boyai” University and Technical University) and business field involved in the programme (Banca Transilvania and Electrogrup), together with a representative of the EMBA Alumni community. The applications were evaluated on: the quality of the essay, business accomplishments, the accomplishments outside the business area, academic results and the involvement in society. The committee members appreciated the quality of the applications received and their evaluation was a challenge. Congratulations to all the applicants!
The fourth generation of EMBA students will start the programme in February 2018.
The 100% British EMBA programme was launched in 2014 through a partnership between the Babes-Bolyai University, University of Hull, Banca Transilvania and Electrogrup. Currently, at the EMBA University of Hull in Cluj-Napoca are studying more than 50 managers and Romanian entrepreneurs.
