The renovation and construction works within the existing operating 110kV power station included: replacement of the existing cells, of the relay room, MV switchgear room, LV services and electrical equipment

Civil works included:

• Refurbishment of the control and connection building;
• Replacing of the existing foundations;
• Replacing the concrete old structure with a steel structure;
• 110 / 20 kV Power Transformer;
• Site works: yard, access roads, alleys, drainage;

Electrogrup successfully implemented:

• Project Management – our teams coordinated the entire work;
• Health and Safety coordination;
• Primary and secondary 110,20, 0.4 kV equipment installation;
• SCADA system and commissioning;

Challenges:

• Working in a live substation with overhead power lines, underground cables and HV equipment;
• Provisionally control circuits;
